Print your designs and information on both sides of the label, creating a truly dynamic and unique effect for your bottles.
What are duplex labels?
Duplex labels are double-sided labels that can display information on both the front and back surfaces. The material of choice is laminated to a printed Clear PP Material, creating a double-sided label which is visible through clear/glass containers. Unlike regular labels that typically have printing on one side, duplex labels maximise the use of space, often being used to either create mesmerising effects or to display additional instructions or regulatory information.
While duplex labels are often used for cosmetics or regulatory reasons, you can also use duplex labels to create incredible effects (especially effective if you sell clear spirits!).
The liquid in bottles can even be cleverly used to amplify duplex designs, creating a label design that will truly mesmerise anyone walking past your products.

For example, you can use the front for a clean, minimalist look while incorporating patterns, artwork, or storytelling elements on the reverse. This dual-layer approach creates a sense of sophistication and engagement that’s perfect for premium products.
Duplex labels work exceptionally well for products that aim to stand out in competitive markets. These include:
Duplex labels are printed on both sides of a single material. Using advanced printing techniques, the front design is created with primary branding elements, while the reverse side can be customised with secondary information or creative artwork. The printing process ensures that the designs are sharp, vibrant, and perfectly aligned, offering a seamless finish for both sides.
Yes, duplex labels can incorporate various finishes to enhance their aesthetic appeal. You can use gloss or matte varnishes, embossing, debossing, or foil accents on either or both sides. This flexibility allows for unique combinations, such as a glossy front with metallic text and a textured, matte reverse, to create a multi-sensory experience.
Absolutely. Duplex labels can help eco-conscious brands reduce packaging waste by consolidating information onto a single label rather than using additional inserts or secondary packaging. They can also be printed on sustainable or recycled materials, making them a stylish and environmentally friendly choice for premium products.
